Moderation Philosophy
Moderators aim for education first, but will escalate when necessary to protect community members. We document every action, encourage feedback, and regularly rotate responsibilities to avoid burnout.
Unacceptable Behavior

The following behaviors will result in immediate removal from the community:
- Harassment, bullying, or intimidation of any kind
- Hate speech or discrimination based on protected characteristics
- Sexual harassment or unwelcome sexual attention
- Doxxing (sharing private information without consent)
- Threats of violence or violent language
- Illegal activity or encouraging illegal activity

- Posting fake giveaways or airdrops
- Phishing attempts or malicious links
- Fake support DMs asking for private keys/seeds
- Pump and dump schemes
Disruptive Behavior
NOT ALLOWED:
- Trolling or intentionally provocative posts
- Starting or participating in flame wars
- Excessive negativity or FUD (Fear, Uncertainty, Doubt)
- Going off-topic repeatedly
- Ignoring moderator warnings
Inappropriate Content
NOT ALLOWED:
- NSFW content of any kind
- Graphic violence or gore
- Excessive profanity or vulgarity
- Political or religious proselytizing
- Content that violates intellectual property rights

- English only in main channel (use local language channels for others)
- No voice/video messages in main channel
- Limit GIFs and stickers to avoid spam

- Follow Reddit-wide rules and reddiquette
- Use post flairs appropriately
- Search before posting duplicate content
- Upvote quality content, don't downvote just because you disagree

Moderation
Moderator Responsibilities
Our moderators are community volunteers who help maintain a positive environment. They will:
- Enforce these guidelines fairly and consistently
- Warn members who violate guidelines
- Remove content that violates guidelines
- Issue temporary or permanent bans when necessary
- Help answer questions and resolve conflicts

- Moderators may skip enforcement steps for severe violations
- Ban evasion (creating new accounts) results in permanent ban

Reporting Violations
How to Report
If you witness or experience behavior that violates these guidelines:
- Use platform reporting tools: Discord has built-in reporting, Reddit has report buttons, etc.
- Contact moderators directly: Send a DM to any moderator (they have special roles/badges)
- Email community team: community@time-coin.io
- Include evidence: Screenshots, links, usernames, timestamps
What to Include in Your Report
- Who: Username(s) of person(s) involved
- What: Description of the violation
- When: Date and time
- Where: Platform and channel
- Evidence: Screenshots or links
What Happens After You Report
- Moderators review your report (usually within 24 hours)
- Investigation is conducted if needed
- Appropriate action is taken
- You receive confirmation (details may be limited for privacy)
Confidentiality
All reports are treated confidentially. Your identity will not be shared with the reported user. We take retaliation seriously and will take action against anyone who retaliates against a reporter.
Appeals Process
If you believe you were banned or warned unfairly, you can appeal:

- Wait at least 24 hours after the action

- Explanation of why you believe the action was unfair
- Any relevant evidence
- Wait for review (typically 3-5 business days)
Appeal Guidelines
- Be respectful and factual in your appeal
- One appeal per incident
- Appeals for zero-tolerance violations are rarely successful
- Decision on appeal is final
Security & Safety
🔐 Protect Yourself from Scams
NEVER:
- Share your wallet seed phrase with anyone
- Send TIME or crypto to someone claiming to be from the team
- Click suspicious links, even from trusted-looking accounts
- Participate in "giveaways" requiring you to send crypto first
- Trust DMs from people claiming to be support/moderators
Official Channels Only
TIME Coin team members will ONLY contact you through:
- Official verified Twitter account
- Official Discord server
- Official Telegram channel
- Email from @time-coin.io domain
We will NEVER DM you first or ask for funds/private keys.
Reporting Scams
If you encounter a scam:
- Report immediately to moderators
- Don't engage with the scammer
- Screenshot evidence
- Warn others in the community
- Report to the platform (Discord, Telegram, etc.)
- Forward suspicious emails to security@time-coin.io
AI & Content Policy
Artificial intelligence can be an amazing accelerator when used responsibly. To keep discussions trustworthy and accurate, we ask members to follow these additional guidelines:
🤖 Disclose AI Assistance
When sharing content heavily produced or edited by AI, add a quick note so others understand the source and can verify critical details.
🔁 Validate Before Sharing
Always fact-check AI-generated code snippets, trading strategies, or research summaries. Misinformation spreads quickly and can cause real harm.
🛑 No AI Impersonation
Do not use AI voice, text, or image tools to impersonate team members, moderators, or other community participants.
AI Abuse Enforcement
Sharing malicious code, deepfakes, or intentionally deceptive AI output will result in an immediate ban. Appeal options are limited for severe cases.
Changes to These Guidelines
These guidelines may be updated periodically to reflect community needs and platform changes. When significant changes occur:
- Announcements will be posted in all official channels
- Changes will be highlighted
- Community feedback will be considered
- You'll have time to review before enforcement
